Fila Brasileiro
Overview
Fila Brasileiro is a Brazilian mastiff that was developed as a planting, hunting and ranch dog. They would hunt big animals like jaguar, work in the plantation and catching the cattle for the ranchers of Brazil. They would also help in searching for runaway slaves.
Fila moves in an unusual way with his forequarter is below his hindquarter. This dog moves with a low and long stride. Certainly, this dog is a very faithful dog but this dog is also known for its temperament. In Portuguese, they have a name for this dog: ojeriza that means dislike.This breed of dog does not like touching or hugging by the strangers even by relatives.
This can be dangerous because if dogs are not treated properly they can attack any stranger for touching and hugging. However, You can train dogs to be friendly with the socialization of dogs. It is a myth of people that short-haired dog shredded lesser than long-haired dogs. Hairs of this dog come out on all your furniture and clothes. However, You can limit shredding by proper care of the fur of dogs.

Fila Brasileiro is very easy to train dogs because it was used as guard dogs in plantations in old times. However, bad temperament is a major problem for new inexperienced owners. It is an extremely strong, aggressive and powerful hunting dog.
